Maléa is 6 months old! It's crazy how fast time flies. We love her so much! She is such a riot. Yesterday we were watching a movie and she laughed at 2 jokes. Well, she had no idea, but still, the timing was dead on! She is so active. She never stops. . . NEVER! Her arms and legs are always moving. But we are grateful to have such a healthy child! She weighed in (at her 6 month shots) at 15 lbs. 6 oz. And she is just under 25 inches. She's going to be short, oh well! Whenever she mets someone new she pushes herself back, leans her head back and studies them. No smiles. She justs looks them over. It's hilarious! Her new noises are high-pitched squealing and what is a mixture of coughing and laughing.

Just an update on Maléa. She is 5 1/2 months! We pierced her ears in July and I am so glad! She did really good and only cried for a minute or two. Dan did not want to inflict pain on his little girl so he said it was my decision. But he loves it and is glad it's over. She smiles all the time now and laughs too. Once in a while she'll even snort while laughing! I love it! When she is in the mood to smile and laugh her daddy can't get anything done. He'll just play with her and kiss her! It's too cute! Once I put her on the floor, went to the next room for a minute, came back and she was across the room. She loves to roll! We try to get her to sit up. She just wants to stand and won't sit still half the time. But she is improving and I am sure she'll be sitting soon! Sometimes I'll see her just staring at her hand. It's funny! I'm sure she's thinking, "Wow! Look at this! I control this!" (as it hits her in the face). Another thing she loves to do is scratch everything. I don't know if it's the noise or the way it feels. She scratches me, my clothes, the floor, her plastic bib, everything! She is sleeping so much better. The last 3 nights she has slept 7-9 hours! I am so grateful! I love her so much and give her tons of hugs and kisses -- I am sure she is sick of them!
